Nokia Will Come Back Strong with Four New Smartphones in 2017

The return of Nokia is giving much to talk, and it doesn’t surprise us. Once leading manufacturer in the sector to return from the hand of Android, a platform that contributed to his downfall, is not something that happens every day, and by rumors all indications are that it will be a return in style.

We have already seen some clues on what we can expect from Nokia in this new stage and recent data indicate that the company will be strong in 2017 with several smartphones. Specifically they would be four mobile and its release would occur throughout the second and third quarter of 2017.

The future of Nokia has several faces

For now there is no confirmed model and the information coming from Asia is a both contradictory, but the terminal sounding more in the rumors is the Nokia D1C, the so-called flagship of the brand.

If the rumours do not fail, the D1C Nokia will be presented in February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, although it not reach the market until the second quarter of the year.

Possible design of the Nokia D1C

However, this would not be the only team in the breech of the company and according to information from the HMD supply chain, company dedicated to the production of future smartphones brand Nokia, they would be working on four different models.

The two most advanced devices have screens of sizes between 5.7 and 5.5 inches and QHD and FullHD resolutions. This information would have leaked as a result of an order from companies like Innolux, Century Technology and LG Display screens.

There would also be space for terminals more simple and economical in the future of Nokia. One of them would be with display FullHD of 5.5 inches and 3 GB of RAM and it would cost around $200, while the most basic would offer 5-inch resolution HD and 2 GB of RAM for about $150. Confirmed, are very reasonable prices which could give the brand a competitive advantage over other traditional brands against which formerly competed.

Yesterday we talked about Nokia E1, a possible mid-range brand that could fit into this segment, although the leaked specifications do not match this new data. As I said, there are many leaks and there is still something unclear information, what does seem clear is that the brand has opened several fronts and in 2017 we will see not one, if not several teams of brand.

All indications are that the first to arrive will be the Nokia D1C and it will do so at the Mobile World Congress at the end of February. We will be vigilant for the next steps of Nokia.
