LeEco Cool S1, Design, Power and Autonomy to Set Price

At this point, it is rare not to have heard the name of LeEco and their terminals with high range at a very affordable price. It seems that the Chinese manufacturer does not want to forget, so they have given birth to the LeEco Cool S1, a fact phablet in collaboration with the also Coolpad Chinese manufacturer.

It is the third collaboration between these two manufacturers after the LeEco Cool1 Dual and LeEco Cool 1 c Charger. We are having, on this occasion, a mobile high end in terms of specifications and priced considerably below that would be one of a brand of traditional calls. We know a little more closely at this phablet.

A fairly seen design in other companies

With the time we have mobile market, today it is difficult to find an original design without having to change the physical form of the same (how you would like a mobile or rhomboid shaped gummy bear?), and the case of LeEco Cool S1 is no exception, and it is even a little familiar.

Specifically we rather like the LeEco Le Pro 3, only that in the lower part of the back do not see the logo of LeEco, but the Coolpad (which has made the terminal), and the ‘home’ button in the front has no way of the logo of the Chinese manufacturer, but circular (the buttons are off the screen).

Furthermore, we see a terminal built in aluminium, with its sensor tracks on the back and a few slightly thicker side frames in the Le Pro 3, but still quite fine. It is, in short, a phablet with a sleek design, but nothing new.

High-end specifications, you can’t expect less

This Cool S1 LeEco a review of all the other high end that the company has been taking this year, could be considered without nothing to envy from other models of other manufacturers in terms of hardware. Starting with the processor, as usual, includes the latest Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 821.

This chip is followed by a RAM of 4 GB or 6 GB memory (we found several versions) and storage of 64 GB or 128 GB not expandable. This terminal screen is of 5.5 inch with FullHD resolution, which makes that their 4,070 mAh battery can endure a day with a more or less intensive use.

Cameras that we at LeEco Cool S1 are of 16 MP with LED flash of double tone and PDAF, and 8 MP at the front. In terms of software, out of the box with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, although at this point they should leave all smartphones with Nougat series.
